Ghungroos are very famous Musical Instruments in India typically worn as anklets or belts.  They usually consist of a series of brass bells typically used for classical dances. These bells are attached to a string or tied to a cotton cord, velvet pad or leather strap to form a Ghungroo. These bells are made of brass and have small iron balls inside which add quite a lot of weight to them.

These brass bells have been reclaimed from a traditional set of Indian vintage anklets, the fabric sadly couldn’t be reclaimed however these are still in fabulous condition.

They are ideal to be reused for various arts and craft projects as well as for jewellery making also.

The larger ones measure approx. 2.5 cm including hook. just over 2cm at widest

The smaller ones measure approx. 2 cm including hook.- just over 1.5cm at widest
